Dallas-based Hughes Capital Partners

(DALLAS – August 2, 2021) – Jeff Hughes, a Dallas-based commercial real estate executive has announced the formation of Hughes Capital Partners. The new firm is focused on delivering institutional caliber investment opportunities, strategy, and execution to qualified investors.

Hughes Capital Partners’ strategy targets value investments in cash flowing multi-family assets located in select US growth markets. “We believe in capitalizing on broad economic and demographic shifts by focusing on fundamentally sound and well located assets that offer strong value propositions,” Hughes said. “Thoughtful, data-driven investment strategy shouldn’t be exclusive to large institutions. Hughes Capital Partners seeks to provide qualified investors superior opportunities with attractive, risk-adjusted returns along with best-in-class execution.”

Prior to founding the new firm, Hughes served as Vice President at Hudson Advisors. He was a leading member of the investment team where he transacted on more than 38,000 apartment units valued at over $6.3 Billion and located throughout 20 US markets.  Before Hudson, Hughes held positions at Invesco Real Estate and Lindsey & Associates working across a broad range of real estate products including multi-family, office, retail and industrial.

Post-pandemic growth expectations have made finding quality investment opportunities more challenging, he said. “As competition has increased, so has the importance of thoughtful analysis and disciplined underwriting. After years investing at the highest level across the country, our extensive network and unique skillset provide proprietary access to opportunities and allows us to find value in a highly competitive market.”

Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He is also an active member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves as a Board Member of the Folsom Institute for Real Estate at SMU.
